Our Veterinary Practice grew out of dedication to the spay/neuter needs of feral cat colonies. For many years we have worked directly with Metro Ferals, a 501(c)3 organization that advocates for the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) of feral/stray cat colonies. Metro Ferals continues to operate spay/neuter clinics for feral and outdoor cats, usually twice a month at the GAPC facility.
With the realization that feral cat caretakers and multi-animal owners and the animals they care for have many more needs for low-cost veterinary services beyond spay and neuter, such as dentals, annual exams and vaccines, wound treatments, emergency surgeries, etc., and with the dedication of our wonderful veterinarian, Dr. Sharon Kaschenbach, we now offer full-service veterinary services for dogs and cats to pet owners and to caretakers of outdoor cats.
Our dog kennels are roomy, each with a large covered outdoor run and weather permitting they can go in or out as they please.
Our Cat enclosures are very roomy so your cats can stay together if they and you want and soon each enclosure will have access to its own outdoor porch.
Our dog daycare and training facility is large and has indoor and outdoor areas for your dogs to run, play, rest and repeat as they desire.
Our remodeled grooming facility with its wall-to-wall windows is a welcoming environment for even the most nervous cat or dog and our experienced groomers treat each animal with care and understanding.
There are minimum vaccination requirements for our day care, grooming, and boarding services, so please be sure you can provide proof of their vaccinations prior to their appointments. If their vaccines are not up to date, they must be updated at least 2 weeks prior to their appointments.
